Dressmaker's Delight

 “Dressmaker's Delight” is a series of prints with collage and chine colle.  They are based on drawings of sewing patterns my mother did when she was in dressmaking school in the early 1930”s. They are very personal, with images of her measuring tape, sewing box, thimbles and other sewing accessories.  And yet they are equally universal images of traditional women’s work.
