Ladders/Nests/Portals

During the last few years there were quite a number of deaths of close friends and relatives and thoughts of life’s paths and portals to another realm started to preoccupy my work. In addition, in order to recover from back surgery, I was instructed to walk as much as possible.  I would stare at the cracks in the pavement and roads and as I went picked up objects sometimes unable to fit more in my hands and pockets when my walk ended.  From these walks came my “Road Kill” series. As you can see, the vocabulary often repeats from media to media.
